Coney Heath CL in Holt, Norfolk great CL with friendly owners and guests, finally made it away on our first trip with our Trigano Mini Freestyle 290! Have cooked breakfast outside, managed to make a great evening meal on our 2 hob rings. Been doing some coastal walks around Wells, Blakeney and Cley. Lovely to have our cosy caravan to come back to. Really pleased with the Cinch Hub for storing all of our stuff in.

You picked a really nice C.L. for your first outing. We stayed there about 3 years ago and found it lovely.

Tent is a good idea to take up the slack.

If you are really decent walkers then I can recommend catching the Coast Hopper at Blakeney to Wells and walking back along the coast, about 7-8 miles. Nice pub just off the coastal path at Stiffkey and one at Morston.

Lovely little touring set up there netcam😁 If you like CLs, which will give you the kind of freedom to set up as you have, don’t be shy at asking for some recommends👍Some of us love them, and I am sure someone will recommend something for you, no matter where you choose to tour. Like you, our caravan only has two rings, a really good grill, no oven. Amazing the meals you can easily produce though. Thanks for sharing👏👏

Thanks for the recommendation. We the first day we started at Wells and walked west along the beach and back, which was probably about 3 hours. Yesterday we started at Blakeney and did the coastal path to Cley beach and back. Great to know there are more paths between Wells and Blakeney, we can look at those now and fill in the gaps we haven't done.

Totally agree, it was fine cooking with 2 hob rings. The Kampa Griddle we got for outside cooking was great too, we were really surprised at how well it worked. We have a little toaster and electric moka pot too, but that lot should be fine for all our needs. The best thing is how great the fridge is.

I think one of the most enjoyable things for us, (and that we still do despite having a more sophisticated outfit), is the sheer amount of time we spend outside. Obviously the UK weather can be a tad unpredictable, but we still love having breakfast outside in the morning, and our evening meal after a day out somewhere as well. You chose a beautiful and interesting bit of the country for your first outing, one of our favourite areas as well.
