Some of you might remember our mate Frank the seagull. Well, he's surfaced again and this time it's official😀

"Former store manager, Jason Dawes, told BBC Radio Cornwall, Frank's favourite snack was a dark chocolate, almond and pistachio energy bar."

Well, he's welcome to that-maybe TW you should catch him/her and take him/her to Hayle for a pasty?!

Or just drop him in St Ives for some pasty snatching lessons??

Hmm, it looks like he's gone vegan, A&J, so won't be interested in pasties. Chips might be a different matter though.

Franks mate in Berwick certainly wasn’t vegan. Took a steak straight off the BBQ when I turned my back for a few seconds.😡

Their antics can be amusing if you aren’t on the end of it. I spent an early morning watching them mug the unwary for breakfast goodies in St Ives one holiday. So fast…..swoop and gone, with a cackle of laughter in their wake.

Good to hear Frank is thriving👍

Apparently it was quite funny when, walking through Looe with visiting Scottish friends, and eating and eating a "Treleaven Luxury Cornish Ice Cream" I stupidly pointed toward the fish quay, saying shall we go that way, and whoosh-my ice cream was gone!

To add insult to injury my mate got a picture of it, sat on a car roof, head tilted back and a clear cone shape visible in its throat!

Several pictures of seagulls on car roofs have been exchanged since.

I've just been chatting to a friend in Blackpool who showed me a picture of the devastation on her tray after a seagull had divebombed it, taken the vanilla slice and spilt two cups of coffee in doing so.  She's not a happy bunny. surprised

Reminds me of the time in St Ives, right in front of one of the many "do not feed the seagulls" signs, when some bloke was encouraging his kids to throw bits of pasty to them. Gull swooped down and nicked what was left of said bloke's own pasty then deposited something not quite so tasty in return all over bloke's shirt. Following language not suitable to be repeated here! surprised

I’ve found a pic of a close encounter we had with Frank in Penzance. He perched on the car bonnet, as you can see, but how did he know we were eating inside the car?🤔

Indeed. Berwick Seaview, it gets a lot of negativity for one thing or another, but we quite like it. Unfortunately so do the local seagulls.😂 They regularly fly patrols at evening BBQ time.

One of the Herring Gulls that patrol the seafront promenade at Llandudno once took a Sandwich out of my hand by flying over my shoulder as I was sitting there. Took a nice bloody gash out of the webbing on my hand. yell And here I am, a Birdwatcher and Nature Lover.

    No justice.smile

He's smarter than the average seagull, Rocky, as the BBC found out.

Is he back in Scarbs now? I think it's got less rain than Marbs whereas Penzance is, well, changeable.

I have family in a villa just outside Fuengirola who were not happy when I told them we’ve not had rain for weeks. I was going with them until something came up🤷🏻‍♂️, dodged a bullet there mate👍🏻😁

Raining in Spain! Another myth gone. I hope anyone from CT over there is keeping dry.
