Morning All

Anyone who is "braving it" in their outfits in this weather, check your bookings and sites you are currently on. As an example, Chatsworth Park has an emergency closure today (now) as it's going to flood. All vans are being evacuated.

Suspect it won’t be the only Site. Flood warning out for Ouse as well. OH has just come home via one of our main bridges, and water is up to bottom of arch. That’s the Don.

Where would they put the evacuees from Chatsworth as you could hardly send them home in this? Is there a higher spot for them on the estate?

The warden gave us a letter with a list of sites we could call. We drove straight home to Skegness with no problems

Good to hear Jon. I assume that as you were going West to East that it helped rather than North to South. Hope everyone else managed to get home or to their new sites ok.
