Club sites closing early in New Year

How many club sites with closing dates listed as 6th January 2022 have had their date brought forward to 3rd January? We were booked into Cirencester Park and our booking has been shortened to leave on 3rd Jan. As we live in Scotland this is no longer a viable trip so I have checked Stonehaven that is still advertised as closing on 6th Jan but obviously is now also closing early on 3rd by the fact all dates after 2nd Jan are not available.

Why is this happening at the last minute or have I missed some previous announcement?

    Maybe there’s a link to the several sites that are closing very early.

    Interesting? as it shows in the handbook as closing on 3 rd Jan2022 which would have been printed in 2020 and the website matches thatsurprised

    Don't they normally close around the 3rd or 4th, I'm pretty sure those that close for a couple of months tend to do so around that date.

     Just checked Stonehaven both in the book and on line. They both confirm the site closes as usual on the 3rd of January.

    The book shows Stonehaven closing on Thursday 6th Jan but the bookings only show to the 3 rd jan could be an error in the handbook,surprised

    Hi Tammy girl if you look on the online booking site pitch availability it clearly says it is open from 5th April 2021 closing on Thursday 6th Jan 2022, not sure where you are looking.

    I think it has always closed on 6th Jan.

    All this year up until now the booking dates have also been available up to 6th Jan.

    Strange my book says:

    Open dates 05 March - 03 Jan 22

    I was looking on the booking calendar, it shows that the site closes 3rd January as is normal, we usually go for the Fireballs on New Years Eve. We only live down the road so visit the site often. I'll look at the page info that might be wrong. The sites guide also says 3 rd Jan close.

    Just had a look you are right it does say the 6th Jan, also the pricing page gives the rate until the 3rd then another price rate for the 4 & 5th. 

    Talk about confusing the members surprised

    I tend to go by the booking calendar that's why I looked there first.

     I had been looking at the booking calendar until the last few days and it was open for bookings until 6th Jan. only just changing now, so I expect some members Stonehaven bookings will be being cut short. My 2019/20 book also shows it as closing on 6th Jan 2020.

    Pity that they don't have the bands on in the square anymore, it was always a good night.laughing
