    It seems strange that they would close the site on a Friday, particularly as it coincides with bonfire night. Saturday 6th would have made more sense. Is the staffing issue as precarious as that?

    Littlehampton is usually open until around 4th Jan each year as we spent Christmas there in 2020, but had to exit on Boxing Day when Lockdown 3 started on 26th Dec 2020.  It does seem that there is an increasing issue of sites closing due to staff shortage, so some assurances from the club as to how they plan to start to resolve this is needed.

    Alderstead Heath is a local bolthole for us but the increasing resident travellers sometimes makes for a unsettling atmosphere, but the site is big to cater for everyone who wants to get away from it all.
