Does any on know when I should hear if I have been allocated a seasonal pitch, this is the first time I have applied for one for  next year and really really hope I have got one , I’m just been impatient I know but I have everything crossed 😁

I believe that the emails went out yesterday.

Just checked our records, we had one in 2018 at Cirencester. We received email confirmation that we had been successful on the 19th November 2017. So if still the same, you may have a while to wait.

We had insurance with the club at the time. I just phoned them about a month before our seasonal started. There was a very small extra sum  to pay, as our van was normally kept in a CaSSOA gold compound when not in use, rather than on a site between visits.

    Evening

Did you only put one choice of site on your form? You have the opportunity of four choices on the online form. Were you told you're on a cancellation list? There are usually quite a few changes over winter as peoples circumstances change and pitches are relinquished.

Which area do you want ? UKCampsite.co.uk lists hundreds of independent sites offering seasonal pitches. Work the phones over the weekend.

Sorry for the late reply , yes there was only 1 site we wanted to stay on which was Sutton on sea , it’s not to far a drive from home and somewere we go a lot so thought we would like a bit more if chilled year by leaving the van there for the  season

yes the email said we’re in a cancellation list so just got everything crossed x

There does seem to be an increase in Seasonal/static pitch requirements. Many commercial sites in this area are changing touring to Seasonal pitches and local authority nod the change through. Sign of the times perhaps.
