New Coachman VIP Vogue

We bought a new Coachman VIP Vogue on 27/07/2021. On arriving home with it the radio had all but fallen out. We also discovered that the alarm system could not be set "reliably". The caravan was supplied with a mains hook up cable which sadly had the wrong type connection. We cancelled our first planned trip to Bewdley and the caravan went back to the dealer, on the 29/07/2021.

We collected it from them for the second time 30/07/2021; while stocking the caravan for our first trip it became apparent that we had a  "open door" alarm fault with the refrigerator and having cancelled one break we decided to go away regardless, by switching the fridge off at night and going out during the day we managed to get by. On our return (07/08/2021) the dealer was contacted and offered to look at the fridge on the 24/08/2021 having little choice we accepted.

We had rescheduled our trip to Bewdley and having already cancelled it once, decided to go ahead foregoing the luxury of a fridge. Again while loading our personal items into the van my wife discovered that the carpet immediately under the forward rooflight was soaked. The caravan was taken back to the dealer (10/08/2021) who at this time have failed to establish how the water came to be in the van and are unable to rectify the problem, they still have it! We are very disappointed with Coachman.

Reject it in line with the Consumer Rights Act. It's not fit for purpose. There are other similar threads on this forum.

You can speak to the club's legal dept if you chose or go it alone.

I agree with TWs post. Best way.

If you don't fancy taking them on yourself then try a section 75 if you paid any of the amount with a credit card. Contact your CC provider.

Incidentally there is a Vogue next to us on a CL at this moment. This years model and owners happy with it apart from a small problem with the water pressure from the shower. Just shows not all has the same bad luck you seem to have had.

    Good luck.
