Has anyone yet travelled to N Ireland with pets under the new regulations. The information I have is that they are not enforcing the regulations until 1st October 2021. I just wonder are there any checks yet in place to a completely unnecessary law. I travel across every year and object to the requirement.

No I haven’t been, but the Northern Ireland government website is clear. Have a look at it. The need for a GB animal health certificate has been deferred until 1st October 2021 but will apply after that. If you are going to go over there regularly see if you can get a vet in Northern Ireland to issue one of their NI pet passports for you. That will save you paying for a GB animal health certificate every time you go.
