Compton Park near Callington will have the space you need. It’s centrally placed inland in a non touristy part of East Cornwall, but how will you get around to visit both coasts, national trust properties and the moorlands? Do you tow a car or will you hire one? What sort of location are you looking for?

In that case it might suit you only for a day or two to walk in Kit Hill country park, but beyond that you would be stuck as it is not on a bus route. I hope someone else can offer better help.

You could try Penmarlam Caravan Park, near Fowey. When it was family run, we did see the occasional huge American coach sized RVs on there. A while ago though. Fabulous walking area, you can get to Fowey easily on the Bodinnick Ferry, and there’s a superb pub down the hill on the waterside, The Old Ferry Inn. You won’t get your RV past the campsite though, or along any of the lanes nearby, but not bad to get into from East Taphouse turn off. Good luck👍

But do not attempt to drive into Fowey!

Have you checked the clubs latest acquisition, Carnon Downs, for max permitted size? It is on a bus route.

I fear you will not see a lot of Cornwall unless you have secondary transport of some sort, or use public transport.

Whereas if you fancy north Devonsmile We can easily accommodate your size of outfit. It's a 20minute walk to a bus stop to other parts.

A helpful offer, JK, but they have got two dogs - and the bus driver will probably only take one.

    Morning

We're at Ilfracombe club Site EX34 8NE. Buses will take 2 dogs.

Just need forward notice to provide suitable plot.

So how does the dog policy work? Is it one dog each?

If Exeter is included in ‘between Devon & Cornwall’ there is acres of space and easy access for a RV at Exeter Racecourse. Stagecoach bus service from outside entrance operates to Exeter and Newton Abbot. Walking distance to limited food & shops also.

If you like ‘all-singing, all-dancing’ type of places with loads going on in high season ‘Monkey Tree Holiday Park’ near Newquay could accommodate you. Just depends on whether that kind of thing floats your boat.

Penhale Camping just outside Fowey, could also accommodate you. Good access, great views over St Austell Bay and walking distance into Fowey & Polkerris.
