American rv
Hi I'm relatively new to this but just wondered if anyone knew of sites that would take a 11 ft rv.
Thankyou in advance.

Mind you, our first caravan was only 10ft😀
With regard to pitching on club sites. There’s a similar thread linked below. The same answers will apply.

Exeter Racecourse always has some of the big RV’s there, the huge coach sized ones, often with slide outs.

…..but sometimes have difficult access.

Good Evening
I run a club site in north Devon, we have several pitches to accommodate an RV, fifth wheeler or whatever outfit at your size of 11 m. All I need is a call in advance, as far as possible. This season so far I've had a12 meter rv, a 11.5 fifth wheeler and several at 10 meters+. As my site is all grass (well drained), it can be weather dependant but we help accommodate where and when we can. Give us a call!

If you look at the details on each individual site you will see that they state the Max length permitted on that site.
For example, I have just a accessed Henley site. It states max length 9 metres so you have to find out which site you want to use then look at the site details found just above the availability button. If you see one that will take you then ring the site as the manager will let you know whether they can save it for you.

Luxurious and capacious though it may be, at that size it will always restrict your choices. Lyndon Top campsite at Rutland Water has lots of space and some big brutes that visit.

Not sure where you are thinking of travelling to or if you only want Club sites, but the site where we have our static van will and regularly does take these. Stratford Caravans, Riverside Park, Stratford Upon Avon. It’s just over a mile from Stratford. It also has very easy access and a nice clubhouse. Best to let them know the size though.

Have seen similar sized units taking up 2 pitches on club sites such as Broadway (Notgrove) but of course you would have to pay for both pitches.

Nellie do you mean Bourton on the Water (Notgrove) it does have a large area of tarmac which possibly take a rv but only 1 pitch is allowed.
The site directory does have a section showing all sites and on it is what size the site can take, as some sites made have the size pitch but access is the issue with narrow bendy roads.

Yes, RK, Bourton I meant. Perhaps they have change the set up, it was a while ago. They used the tarmac area at the car end of the site near the dog walk. I seem to remember that they used to have at least a couple of pitches marked out on that area.
