Flojet water pump

Hi everyone, I wonder if any one could help please I've just changed my old pump in my swift challenger 565sr, usually I take a pic of all electrics etc that are involved but I forgot.

When I have come to put the pump back in I can't remember which of the caravan wires are positive & negative, I've got a red/white wire & black /purple not sure which to connect with my new pump, please help if you can.

    cant find anything Swift definitive but the red bit 'suggests' positive and the black bit suggests earth (negative)....

    In this case, red/white is negative.  (  Swift and Flojet owner )

     

    wiring diagrams are available on line on the Swift website, you need the relevant technical handbook

    Thankyou for the reply, I could have kicked myself for not taking a picture, I wil put them in the right connector in the morning.

    I would test the new pump but our caravan is on our drive which has a slope on it, so will wait until we are away but fingers x'd it will all work

    you've a 50 50 chance .... if it pumps, you were right, if it sucks, swap them over 😉
