Jolly Rogers
Just had a fantastic 10 day first visit to Sutton On Sea on the East midlands coast, fantastic dunes and beach that stretches for mile to Maplethorpe and beyond. Our only gripe was the local mobile Chip shop called Jolly Rodger. The van comes round 3-4 times a week and we were so looking forward to our fish and chips. Once the van had arrived we were first there, I started to state my order with Large cod and chips to be interrupted by the chap stating ONLY Haddock no other choice ? So went on to order two haddock and chips, pickled onions whoops NO onions !!! the wife had a curry sauce and that was that. Back at the caravan more disappointment the fish obviously was frozen not fresh and the chips were chips but on moving the chips and fish around only to find brown oil left on the plate (old oil), never again thank god it only cost about £10.50 As they say you get what you pay for, be warned.
