Gas Fire
Good afternoon everyone,
My name is Lesley and my partner is Paul, we are new to motorhomes, we bought a lovely old girl just before the original lockdown and have only managed to get away twice, anyway our gas fire is not working and with a quick look there are a couple of loose wires from the fire to the battery holder for the ignition, does anyone know where I can get a new or refurbished one or even an idea where the brown wire goes i will try to put a picture on. Advice would be greatly appreciated.

A few photos would be good. The chances of getting new parts from the manufacturers is remote but EBay is always a good starting point for secondhand parts. Hopefully we can help when we see the photos.

Hello and welcome, theres some great knowledge on here!
Photos would be useful but to load them onto this forum you will need to resize them once you've taken them. I downloaded an app called resize and find it works well with my android phone.
You'll need some heat of some sort if you want to use year round, if all else fails an electric small fan heater or small oil filled radiator will help but if course you will need to be on a pitch with electric Hook up, EHU. Does you fire work on electric too?

Hello yes all the electrics work, just we don't alway go to sites for hookup, and would prefer the gas fire to work for all round comfort.
