Cycling from Hurn Lane Burham on Sea/Brean
Can anyone recommend some cycling routes from the Hurn Lane site please. We are going there next week. We have e bikes but my wife doesn't like really long rides so medium distance would be ideal. All idea's gratefully accepted.
Thanks Adrian and Judith

I can't help directly but you could have a look at the cycle maps and guidebooks produced by Sustrans:
I have the one for up here and I've found them very good.
Post edit, I see that national cycle route 33 passes close to Burnham, see:
https://www.sustrans.org.uk/find-a-route-on-the-national-cycle-network/route-33
From there you can even see the route on the interactive OS map:

sorry it appears the last link I've put there doesn't work too well, but you can get to it from the second.
And cycle map 4 appears to cover your area

There will be plenty of shorter rides as the area is fairly flat, you could follow the coast road down towards Brean Down and return back to site or many of the local roads but some are on the narrow side.
Ask the site staff when you arrive will also help and as cornersteady suggests.
Enjoy your break.

I’m fairly certain you can cycle from Brean to Uphill and then via the beach (hard sand suitable for vehicles) or esplanade and on to Weston-super-Mud. Take a rest at the lovely location of St Nicholas Church at Uphill Cliff and a coffee at Uphill Marina.

It starts a few miles north of you at Yatton Station (parking available) but the Strawberry Line is a nice level ride into the Mendips.

you can head south to Burnham and Highbridge and then head eastwards onto the levels....NCR 3 in there somewhere....super flat easy riding for as far as you feel able.
