Sticking Windows

I have an issue with some windows sticking to the rubber seals. What's the best to use to free these up and prevent sticking going forward (a silicone spray?), and what should you not use (vaseline?). I'd be grateful for advice on products and techniques that have worked for others. Thanks

I use a little olive oil on a cloth, wipe it on and lightly wipe it off. I apply it once in awhile and have never had any problems with sticking.

I sorted my sticking door rubber seal by wiping it with talcum powder.

Silicon spray and electrical contact cleaner are two essential items which I carry in the MH.The former is great for easing sticking windows, toilet seals and plastic mechanisms etc.The latter helps dealing with other issues like the  Thetford toilet flush PCB control which threw a wobbler and would not turn the flush pump off."Magic sprays"to the rescue👍.

For 35 years or some we have used talcum powder on the window seals on caravans and motorhome as part of the winterisation process. Seems to have worked.

Thetford silicone spray is specifically made to lubricate seals, so you can use on the toilet, window seals and anywhere else you do not want an oily mess, e.g. locker mechanisms.
