Milenco commercial steering wheel lock

I'm thinking of buying the Milenco Commercial steering wheel lock for my Ducato van conversion, but the photos suggest it can't be used with the wheel pointing straight ahead.

This suggests it may not be any use when using levelling wedges. Also would like to know if the seat can still swivel when it is in use. 

Has anyone encountered difficulties this way?
