Did anyone else follow this Psychological crime drama recently on ITV? Forensic psychiatrist Dr Emma Robinson ( Emily Watson) is assigned to assess Connie, (Denise Gough) a woman accused of a heinous crime, but who claims she can't remember a thing. At times it seems as much about the life of the psychiatrist than the one being examined. You do read of stories of parents harming their children but rarely you you know or understand what drives them to it, this is what the drama explores. The haunting melody of Skeeter Davis song "End of the World" is played throughout and it becomes a bit of an earworm!!!

Yes we watched it - good to have a story told over just 3 consecutive evenings. Thought the story line was actually very convincing and the two main actors put on a superb performance. Better than channel 5's recent "Intruder" where a very good story seemed to be spoilt be terribly stilted acting.
Next up on ITV is "viewpoint" which looks as if it will be another edge of the seat story!

Yes, Mrs ExT and self watched it. Thought the acting was phenomenal, the storyline disturbing, dark and intriguing. A thoroughly entertaining and good watch. Like Moulesy, I also liked the 3-in-a-row format. Not seen anything else on TV with quite such impact. Both Emily Watson and Denise Gough will, imho, appear at the Oscars, Grammys, Brits or whatever they're called. Both deserve a gong. Quite brilliant.

Yes, excellent drama and bold story line. Quite difficult to watch at times. A bit spoilt for me by the weak ending. We all enjoy a happy ending, but in those kind of situations it rarely happens quite like that.
