can a skoda estate 2017 2.0tdi 147bhp max towing weight 2000kg

min kerb weight 1430kg     gross vehicle weight 2070kg 

legal to to a swift challenger x880 mtlp 1642kg

its all very confusing

    the car above was the skoda superb estate

    so what car will tow the swift ?

    Legal but unwise. You should be looking at a car with a kerb weight of at least 1800Kg and minimum 150BHP if you want a relaxed towing experience.

    Hi, Do you have the car, the van, neither or both??

    My max towing mileage is app, in a normal year-remember those?- 10-15% of my total mileage so my choice of car is made to reflect what I want to be in for the majority of my time, not the small percentage towing.

    Does, of course, need to be legal but there are so many other variables as to make useful advice quite difficult.

    i have the swift challenger x880 just now  hopefully trading in soon when

    the dealer opens up  i tow with my Campervan just now which weighs

    1717kg kerbside  

    was looking at changing wife's car for one that could tow also.
