Hi,

We store our elddis crussder at home on the drive but it is overhung by trees belonging to a neighbour.

Consequently the roof is prone to lots of sap drip and discolours easily.

Im looking at a roof cover. Maypole do a basic one at about £65 and ive just had a quote of £400 from a specialist ( which i doubt im going to pay)

Has anyone had experience?

Does condensation happen?

Are they more trouble than good?

Thoughts please....

Not the response you're looking for perhaps but I'd be lobbing the neighbour's overhanging trees.

haha, yeah thanks, they're lobbed, at least the parts that overhang our drive are lobbed, but they're quite mature tall trees which means I can only easily get the first 15-20 feet or so.

The neighbour is really sympathetic too but short of lobbing them down completely (which neither of us would want anyway) I'm thinking a cover is the way to go.

It's sod's law that the most convenient spot on the drive is the spot where their trees are too.

If it is just a roof problem just go for the "cap" i would think the higher price is for a full cover ,the sides of the van are quite easy to clean it is the roof that is the difficult bit

I would not think you woulld get much if any condensation  with just a "cap"
