we have a Lunar and I am on a couple of the Facebook owners groups and this is a rumour that has been doing the rounds there for a few months. I wouldn’t be surprised and apparently the new company haven’t been manufacturing or has any staff working for quite some time. Our van is just over 3 years old and we did have a few problems sorted under warranty in the first couple of years. It’s just been serviced and given a clean bill of health so fingers crossed it stays that way

When looking on line it does seem that the South African who bought out and moved the company, has not  it seems?payed any rent for the new premises and the furloughed staff have not been payed,

Perhaps one ought to ask 'how long before the bad news hits the register of companies:' ?  1 Week, 1month or 1/2 a year?

An official notice of insolvency would appear in the press and business gazettes in 2-3 weeks of an official order being made and thus would be on the internet.

If the staff are furloughed and not being paid, sounds like the owner is making a bob or two out of the Government coffers prior to doing a runner

When I checked Companies House last year it only showed one director Nicholas Marks who is down as a Chartered Accountant, so you have to wonder, plus there has been no end of newspaper articles (one being in a Sunday one) regarding the same said person and the companies he has had in the past.  The registered office address has been changed twice.

We bought a new Lunar the month they went under and needed several repairs from the start, thankfully the Dealer has done some.  We have now accepted that we now have a van with NO warranty.
