There is no copetition in terms of too few non facility sites.

I did actually very carefully but it didn't make any more sense than your original post about no competition outside of CL and CS, to me anyway. Perhaps you could repost what you were trying to say?

But no matter - good to know you are using club sites and don't mind the full price, and a pleasure to give you all these extra sites with no facilities outside of the two clubs that you didn't know about. As I pointed out there are lots of them out there if you looksmile

Not so much a reply, as a question. Are car and caravan membership years vignettes still issued. We joined in 1994 and would have expected a 25 year vignette by now.

I had a flimsy 15 year window sticker if that's what you mean. Best to ring the club I think.

Actually, I could sell you mine and the 10yr one 🤣

I got a 20 year sticker, I seem to recall a previous thread where people hadn't got theirs and were told to ring up the club to get one.

    Wear your sticker with pridesmile

We all had about 6+ months in 2020 when we could not use any sites but we still had to pay the full yearly cost of membership, a couple of vouchers to use when booking a site would not go amiss

You didn’t have to renew your membership if you were unhappy about that. You could have walked away or taken a membership break. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Perhaps she did but I have a sneaking suspicion she would have told us. People who do that generally tell all, don't they?🤣🤣🤣

So a couple of site night vouchers, which could be worth more than a years membership, for every member. That would hardly aid the clubs recovery from the pandemic. Perhaps a sticker, I supported the CAMC would be a more realistic demand.😉

Wow..... a member with a moral & ethical compass that thinks all should be rewarded without question just because you became part of a club regardless of membership length.

Perhaps the person in question should ask themselves the same questions about their continued use of several service utility providers, energy, broadband, insurance, entertainment providers... the list is endless, that we all use on a daily/yearly basis continually without any reward offered even for their most long term customer base.

Customers Loyalty was lost many years ago.

Why would you expect anything different from the CMC. 🤔🤭😀

"Customers Loyalty was lost many years ago"

Brittany ferries just announced the following re Club Voyage"

"As a gesture of goodwill for your loyalty and support during these challenging times we have further extended your membership free of charge. The extension will be automatically added to your membership, you do not need to do anything"

cant remember when i last paid any membership fee cool

    It’s not a ‘Club’, it’s a business.

"There are repeated complaints that insurance companies, internet providers etc. do not treat Loyalty like Royalty and perhaps the actual individual cost is not so great "

well the OP bore reference to businessess, so i thought my post was in line with the OP, anyway it is called "CLUB Voyage" and it does provide cruises and even caravan holidays, so it is pretty much much in keeping with the CAMC which i think is a business running under the guise of a club laughing

I am sure you will find the club rewards loyalty. Just ask to see the bonus scheme for managers and directors, do not bother asking about the site managers one though.

I’ve been a member for 25 years never ever received a sticker not that it would have been any use having received one but at least it would have been a bit of recognition for loyalty.

This has been aired before about people not getting one, the club says ring in and you'll get one in the post.

May the force be with you ob1

I would suggest that that would be a waste of a phone call for what use the sticker is.

Yes, it has no used at all - unless to hide a scratch on a window but I suppose it depends upon the value given to the sticker by ob1?

I suppose no one would be asking if these stickers didn't exist but as they do and the Club obviously feel there is a requirement for them but the administration of such stickers does seem a bit slap dash given the number of people that seem to have to chase the Club for them? I will be a 40 year member when my subscription is paid in a months time so it will be interesting to see if I get a sticker automatically as I have done previously with other anniversaries. As to their importance that will very much be a personal thing, some will value them but others disregard them, such is life!!!

That’s was a good promotion and maybe they could rerun annually, I oftener ask for vouchers at Xmas and this made a nice saving.

The Club has passed on the VAT reduction, not all businesses have. We found this very nice, and it swung staying on a no facility Club Site rather than a CL for us, as it made the Club Site cheaper😁👍
