Dometic freezer compartment wire rack shelf
We recently got a new Elddis Affinity 574. On getting the caravan home I found that the freezer compartment of the fridge was missing the wire rack shelf. We have had one in every caravan we have previously owned.
The dealer has said they have contacted Dometic who advised it is not part of the standard build or available as an extra part.
The model of the fridge is C40/110 RMS8551.
Can I ask if anyone has this fridge and if it has the wire rack shelf in the freezer compartment.

Ours is not exactly the same model but is a 2020 of the RMS series and it has no shelf in the ice box. Neither did our last in a 2017 van.

Thanks for the reply. I assumed it would have one as it has the slots either side for it to fit. Maybe it isn't missing then.

I don't think it is, despite having the slots. Tbh, if ours had a shelf I'd take it out as the space would be less usable with one fitted.

If I remember correctly the floor of the freezer compartment is removeable so that the whole thing can be used as a fridge, that is perhaps why there are slots in the side.
I also remember a warning from way back that it is extremely difficult to get the freezer floor panel back in.
