Ducato U connect 5 sat nav

We’ve just taken delivery of our 65 plate Bessacar E412 based on the Ducato chassis. The U Connect radio and system does everything apart from Live Traffic updates.

Any help to overcome the problem would appreciated. I’m a sat nav user for Tom Tom and Garmin but can’t get the traffic updates showing.

Also any clues to the use of the small green socket just in front of the pop up map holder by the front screen

    U connect doesn't give live updates, well it doesn't in my Jeep. You can't even get free updates from the dealers. I think you can in Europe and the US but not the UK.

    I have the U-Connect in my Mileo & find it so long winded I just use google maps on my phone.....

    I'm sure if I persevered it would be fine & although the screen works well for my reversing camera it is small for the information it displays!

    tbh, I'm considering the Avtex motorhome version for peace of mind.
