Dometic Sink/Shower Tap

Thanks to CV19 our combined shower/sink tap has had plenty of use this year as we’ve tended to use our own van facilities. However, all that use has revealed a weakness. The retractable pipe has started to kink as it curls up in the locker after use. The supplied pipe is not really up to the job and I need something more robust that can cope with regular use without collapsing. Has anybody  had and solved this problem?

    Can you change it for proper shower type hose? or change your LV to a make that does not cut corners  ,and have separate taps for each usewink
