Air conditioning on an Elddis chatsworth 866 2019
Hi
we have an elddis chatsworth based on the model Avante 686 I believe.
we were due this Saturday to have our first service at glossops and have an air con unit fitted also after experiencing a very hot and humid summer using fans in the south of France.It is a 6 Berth for our family.Elddis have said they won’t guarantee the work as the structure won’t support it as apparently they only fit the support brackets at factory level should you want one on a new purchase.
please can anyway help with a suitable alternative.We don’t really want air con floor level.I have read about trans cool and would like to ask current users how efficient it can be.
If we have work carried out to fit air con in the roof Elddis have said it forfeits our 10 ye water ingris guarantee .
