hi everyone newbie post, just bought our first caravan (2nd hand) and seem to have an issue with the Truma 2e boiler, I have read forums and other posts regarding the issues with this boiler, none of which replicate my fault so hoping someone may be able to help me. My boiler works perfecr on gas, both heating and water....however on electric I get hot water but the fan will not kick in for the heating no matter what i do. I have checked all trips, fuses, etc and cant seem to work it out...thanks in advance!!

Does the fan work on gas but not on electric?

Have you checked the two 10amp fuses on the boiler the 12v  electrics fuse is under a cover on the top and the mains 10amp fuse low down under a cover on one side and is often difficult to get to.

If you have not got the handbook you can download one from Truma.

Yes the fan works perfect on gas, I've checked the top fuse but not the lower as thought that was for the elements...if you switch from gas to electricity the fan just stops but you can still feel the heat

I’m only familiar with the Combi in a motorhome installation, but do you have a control panel with display? If so, I’d expect to see a  ⚠️ symbol which when selected will provide a fault code?

I have the CP Plus Control panel on the bigger 6E boiler and you can run the boiler on electric with hot water only setting with no heating on.

Have you somehow manually achieved this?
