Sadly you are quite correct. There are only five sites in the whole of the country with pitches on all three nights. Price of all these new people joining the club You might do better to look at a Cl.

Hi - have you scrolled down to look at all pitch types? I don't know that particular site or what variety of pitches it has, but you may find some available if you scroll down the booking page.
Having said that, it won't be easy to book a club site at short notice at this time of year, just after schools have returned, and this particular year seems to be even more difficult.
The alternative, of course would be to search for a CL in that area - good luck, hope you find something.

Welcome to the ‘new normal’! Worse year for booking I can recall and not just CMC. I think new members should be advised of that fact before their subscription is accepted to avoid misunderstanding and disappointment.

I agree, currently it would be sensible to have some sort of statement on the joining page, re exceptional demand in September and October. Even sites that are generally fairly easy to get into at short notice, such as Malvern, is showing full for the comming Wednesday to Monday.
At the moment this is the information someone thinking of joining is given:-
If I join online, how quickly will I be able to book Club Sites?
New members can have online access as little as one hour after joining online. Your email confirmation containing your membership number usually arrives within 48 hours of joining online.0 -
UKCampsite.co.uk lists 39 caravan sites within ten miles of Great Yarmouth. Pick up the phone.

I certainly think sites appear to be busier at the moment. Last night I did make two 'fairly last minute' bookings for Serviced pitches.... Burrs and Tredegar without a problem. They're there to be had if you are in a position to be flexible....

It seems wrong that the club is still accepting new members when current members can’t get pitches. We have given up on two weeks in Scotland as spending at least an hour every evening on line looking for pitches on club sites and calling CLs. We managed to get four nights following cancellations and then nothing. A number of the CLs had not re opened but nothing on the site. We are happy to go on sites with no facilities yet for some reason the club has not opened some of these.

According to the web site today, there is plenty of availability in October!
Where there does seem to be inacuracies is with the late availability. The whole of Devon and Cornwall is showing nothing available for the weekend 26th 27th Sept but if you look at Godrevy and Merrose that is not the case.

How long before you intended to tour did you try for CLs in. Scotland? I know that when the lockdown eased many of the CLs were booked up in D&G, but we were able to book 8 consecutive CL's for late Sept and most of October without much problem, and have added 2 club sites and another CL since then.
