Report it again! Site owners who do this put the club in jeopardy of losing the right to issue exemption certificates. Tbh, I’d not expect an individual to be given feedback on occurrences between the club and a CL owner.

Contact CL Maddie - via Rowena if necessary.

Another option available to you is to contribute a review of the CL on the Club's website mentioning the over use, it might be picked up by a Regional Manager?

I think we know that’s a long shot, David.

I’d report it but we don't know what sites are involved.

Euro, just because you no longer use a caravan, that is no excuse to praise a CL owner who deliberately jeopardises the future of CLs and CAMC's role in exempting such sites.

There's a difference between an owner of a CL putting a member up on a full site with 5 vans on it as an emergency for a night, maybe due to an impending storm or such like, and one that flagrantly flouts the rules just for profit. We've been that 6th van on a couple of occasions due to a sudden change in the weather forecast. On those occasions we moved to a different part of the property, usually a sheltered barn area.

I do agree that the rules need another look by the powers that be.

it happened to us as well WN.

Yes, CL’s are 5 outfits only, but it should be recognised that some locations operate a CL alongside either another CL, or a CS, or a private site. Some also have a separate rally field. So what’s reported on here, as one reply from the Club verifies, isn’t always as it seems. Blatantly and consistently pushing the boundaries does get reported though. We know of one CL who was outed by his neighbours, not Members.

There is no CL called White Lodge on the club site, so it may be with the other club or is now independent. If it was a CL and still displays the club sign please report this to the club CL team

It’s none of my business as I’m not a club member but I think it’s very much your business if someone is falsely purporting to be operating under the auspices of the club of which you are a member.
