I must admit it’s been fabulous to get away!

On the 4th July we had already booked Incleboro fields site for a week beginning the 1st of July so at least we got 3 nights away, which was fabulous and the wardens there are second to none, especially those who’ve been there for 3 years and shame on  me I’ve forgotten there names...,..

We sadly have lost our main summer uk site bookings due to covid as my husband is a Paramedic and having to book leave a year in advance we now have no summer leave left. As have a lot of people like us.

We are currently at Stamford site which is fabulously located in fineshades wood, beautiful walks and great pitches and wardens do a fab job. Sadly we made a mistake and only booked two nights for my husbands leave and now we wanted to extend for two more nights, and we came here as we only live about 30 minutes away and our daughter is expecting a baby anhytime so didn’t want to go too far!
buy they are fully booked, never mind..,

We are now thinking of going to Rutland site, which is a affiliated site and was wondering if any of you have stayed there before?!

i however do feel that an NHS discount should be applied to all Uk Sites and that they should have priority over bookings this year at least as CAMC members!, thanks for reading, Helen Lockyer
