Covid confuses!

We are currently enjoying a trip across the border to sunny South Wales. Working out the different Covid regs is all good fun, but I’m confused with the club site!

We can use the toilets (which I thought we couldn’t), go in the shop/reception, use the washing up point and the water and waste points, but the children’s play area is locked?! There are hand sanitizers everywhere which is brilliant and the whole thing has been very well thought out. But the closed parks is a nightmare! I was told it’s to do with govt restrictions, but the town parks are all open! And the welsh govt say they can be open.
As a parent of an autistic child who is non verbal, it’s awkward to explain that the site park is closed but the one a five minute walk away is open!!
I understand these are challenging times for us all, and my little dude loves the caravan club sites so much. But just wondering if there is a reason the parks are closed.
Not a moan, just a question!

And by the way, thank you to the fab wardens opening these sites for us all to enjoy. Working in a sales environment, I know how hard this whole thing has been!

We already have a thread discussing the safety measures and feedback regarding club sites so I'll lock this one to avoid duplication.

You say you've been told that the play area is closed because of government restrictions but, if you need further clarification, you might consider contacting the club direct as forum members can't give anything other than their opinion regarding what they might also have been told.
