Hi everyone , had a bit of a moment yesterday when I was moving the van on the drive to wash it and in a moment of lapse concentration I caught the plastic A-frame cover with the jockey wheel and broke a piece off of it .The piece is in one piece so temporarily I have superglued it back in position.Does any know someone in Shropshire that does mobile plastic repairs please?
thanks Brian & Jo

Most good car body repair shops repair bumpers so if you take it off and take in they may be able to help or advice

Also, boatyards are very experienced at repairing plastic/fibreglass damage;  so if you are near one worth giving them a call.  If you are confident, you could always buy a fibreglass repair kit and try yourselffrown

I recently made a similar repair using white Marine grade gel coat finished off by sanding down and spraying white to finish. I used Halfords cutting compound to match existing white.

You can reinforce the repair with mesh on the inside if necessary. A 200 gm tub cost £8.00 from Marinescene uk through ebay.

Less messy and easier to use than fibreglass and resin.
