Peter Green, one of the founders of the band Fleetwood Mac, has died aged 73. A brilliant guitarist and much underrated singer, he left the group before they  became world famous and mega rich and suffered a number of mental health issues before returning to perform with his own band The Splinter Group. He will be sadly missed but his legacy will be some great songs, Man of The World, Green Manalishi and Oh Well.

As there are two threads running, perhaps a mod could close this one so that all tributes to Peter Green can appear in one place?

    RIP from a massive fan.

There’s a tribute band in the Cornwall ‘Fleetwood Mac by Tango in the Night’. Bob Seymour is as close as you’ll find to the real thing.

Blame me! I posted on your thread last night to say that BBC4 were showing the tribute "Man of the World" again. I posted on your thread thinking this one had been closed! surprised

Not blaming you m - I know you did and I was just about to check when you said it was on, so that I could watch it on iPlayer, when I realised the whole thread had disappeared.
Don’t see how your posting could be responsible for that🥺

More gremlins in the forum again!
