Extending dog leads

When will the club grasp the nettle and BAN  extending dog leads. I had forgotten just how inconsiderate quite a lot of members are by using these leads and letting the dogs wander off to do their stuff. The grassed areas on site are not for this purpose and last night we say a dog have a dump on the grass which was picked up however there is always residue and 20 minutes later a group of children sat in the same spot having  a game and resting their hands on the grass. Its absolutely disgusting.
