Flooding in June

Just when you all thought that it would be safe to go out again to sites from Saturday along comes the heaviest ever rainfall in June in the North leading to a flood warning for Keswick Camp site and flood alerts for York.

Just looked at the York webcam which shows the river ouse already very high and encroaching on to the cobbled area in front of the Kings Arms. Doesn't look very promising for the weekend with a lot more rain to come.
