My pressure relief and drain valve has a very slight leak, resulting in pump cutting in every 20 minutes or so.  I know it is this as looking underneath I can see the outlet dripping. New ones are £52, seems a gread deal for a simple valve.  Has anyone sucessfully stripped and repaired one of these valves?  If so could you give me details please.

On my Bailey they are two different things? If the pressure relief valve is like the one in the picture you can partially take it apart. Sometimes swarf from the water tank can get stuck in it. I have to say that on both motorhomes I have had the pump does momentarily come on now and then.

Thanks David - But unfortunatly mine is the combined valve.  Becuase it is also a drain, it is easily flushed, but it still drips.  I know It is nothing major, and easily lived with;  but it is one of those annoying little niggles.  Every time I hear the pump cut in, I say I must do domething about that.

My Elddis is leaking water from the heater drain. Worked the valve back & forward last night & it sealed. Just packing up this morning & started leaking again & wouldn’t seal. It’s a Whale DW0801UR & you seem to be able to get a new Relief/drain valve. Anybody seen any instruction to fit one?
