@Takethedogalong the other members of Sky were Francis Monkman and Kevin Peek. John Williams left the group at the end of 1983 after their 6th Album, Sky Five Live.

I still have my copy of the first album.

@richardandros thanks for that video, fantastic playing!

A couple of left field groups that I used to listen to were National Health and Weather Report, although they are no longer on my radar, and I doubt many will be listening to them these days.

For any blues fans out there…

This tune has been for a long time one of my favourites. Many will have heard of Peter Green, but there was another member of Fleetwood Mac who could play a bit 🙂 Written and performed by Danny Kerwan. I just love his touch and intonation on this, so delicate.

@Freddy55 - absolute magic - thank you - could listen to that all night. That was real Fleetwood Mac before a certain Christine McVie (as good as she was), came along and changed everything

Glad you enjoyed it @richardandros 👍 Yes, I preferred the original lineup (Fleetwood Mac). One of my favourite albums is ‘Then Play On’ by them. Incidentally, that tune I posted is on that album. Christine McVie (formerly Christine Perfect) did though record a rather lovely tune with Chicken Shack (remember them?) , ‘I’d Rather Go Blind’, a song originally recorded by Etta James.

    Herewith…

Have just come across a 3 hr+ compilation of music by The Band, with numerous "guests" including Dylan, of course, Clapton and Todd Rundgren. Well worth a listen to.

To me, a wonderful tune performed by Brett Anderson, formerly from Suede.

I have just come across a singer who has released a few albums which mainly feature a single subject…most of the songs on them are all about Scotch whisky!! Robert Laing Is the singer, and these are the albums:-

Up in the Dram Room; The Water of Life; Whisky for Breakfast.
