Is anyone else booking uk trips at this time?

As we already have a number of threads discussing the current situation, I'll lock this thread to avoid repetition.

I think your question has been mulled over on numerous threads recently

It seems the consensus is     ,do you take notice of advise about no travelling on any but essential journeys,  or whether you think you are immune

There are probably a good few booking sites, how they will get there, and whether or not the site will be open is possibly a more interesting question!

Gwynedd in Wales has requested second home owners and tourers please stay away.

According to our niece, who is a paediatric specialist in a large hospital, staff, including herself, n many specialities are being retrained and drafted in to deal with the current crisis. Ambulance crews and other emergency services are stretched to breaking point anyway.

In view of that, I'd have thought anyone risking non essential travel in the immediate future is foolhardy to say the least! (Trying to stay polite there!)

Other areas with high second home ownership will be having the same problem soon. Thinking of places like North Norfolk and Devon and Cornwall.
