Hey, can anyone recommend touring sites in mainly Scotland but also north England for family with a 15 month old? Any good sites with swimming pools onsite or nearby and good entertainment in the evenings?

Thanks

There are certainly no club sites that  would meet that criteria,    you will need to be looking at  i would think large comercial sites probably nearer the coasts

I presume you will want a site with an indoor rather than an outdoor pool - so google  'UK campsites with indoor pools' and you will get a list of over 200, and several of them in your chosen area. Then look at their individual websites and as many reviews as you can find.

Hi, we used Nairn Lochloy for many years when our kids were young. The touring facilities aren't great, a bit basic, but clean enough. There are only about a dozen touring pitches in a small area, but it was ok. The main reason for putting up with the basic facilities was the pool and entertainment for the kids, which is very good. Good luck, Alex.

Friends of ours always headed for the Park Dean resort at Dornoch in Sutherland, "Grannie's Heilan' Hame Holiday Park." I think it had just about everything! In a nice area too. smile

Haven's Haggerston Castle in Northumberland is good, best when you can get the low season rates.

Check  out their sites in Scotland too.

Would not use them high season though, as much too expensive
