    Ok if Wales is allowed and not counted as "foreign" then Merthyr Farm at Harlech sounds to be which one my youngest grandchildren would like - there are lambs being born on the farm over the next couple of months, and there are  bound to be some needing bottle feeding, there's room for the boys to run around and play on the campsite which has only 24 pitches, campfires are allowed in an evening for those marshmallows I mentioned earlier, and the site is within reach of the sea .

    I rest my case !

    Hmm.....🤔 Yorkshire, Scotland. So it’s possibly me that ought to be chastised for not being on target, and not those suggesting a ferry over the Channel? 

    My first post about Yellowcraig was prior to OP telling us they lived in Wirral and were looking for something in North West. My second post at least referenced travel time and good fast roads to get to East Coast, (which is renowned for being great for young children), and then my last post again mentioned Scotland, but is at least a North West location if you live on the Wirral.

    I remain a bit puzzled, but will try harder to be helpful next time. 🤷‍♂️

    Foreign WTG?, it’s one of the original tongues there is in this Country it came way earlier than Anglo Saxon👍🏻

    Greg was, of course, right to ask, and, hopefully, has had a number of useful suggestions for sites in the area he was looking at. It would be good to know what he decides eventually. smile

    Greg has probably put his caravan up for sale now frown, thinking 'this isn't for me'. But maybe, just maybe the family could meet some great people on the sites and think 'Wow, this is real life' cool

    yes, but as I've often said before that sometimes what happens on CT and what happens in real life on club sites are completely different things.

    Yes stick with it, you'll find like minded parents and families on sites, and when older your kids will make great friends on site too. Mine still have great memories they bring up from time to time.

    This thread has gone so far off the original posters question I have decided to close it. I only hope the OP has been able to glean some useful information from those who have genuinely tried to help him. Unfortunately I fear, like many before him, having seen how some react on this forum he may not bother in future?
