Sites near north west Glasgow

We want to visit relatives living in NW Glasgow, but the nearest sites seem to be either Balloch further north or over in the east some 30 mins away. Does anyone know of any sites in NW Glasgow? Thanks.

    Have you looked at Ardoch House Hotel and West Highland Way campsite at Blanefield?

    Not been there as we live not far away, but it sounds expensive!

    There are no campsites close to Glasgow on this side, the only CL we had has apparently gone.

    That looks very nice brue, though quite a bit further out and further east.

    Depends on exactly where your relatives live Apperley, but the sites at the foot of Loch Lomond are easily reached from where we are as the roads there are good.
