Towing with a BMW X1?

Hello

Just wondered if anyone tows with a BMW X1 and how they find it? Looking at 2015/2016 facelift model.

I currently have a 2006 BMW X5 which is an amazing tow car, but sadly getting too old now and I’m looking to replace it with something smaller.

I currently tow a 2013 Sprite Major 6TD which has a MTPLM of 1480KG, but worry the X1 might be too small/not weigh enough as a tow car.

    I have a BMW X1. X Drive. 20D Auto  2014, towing a Coachman VIP 520  With MTPLM of 1550 kg.

    Very pleased with cars towing ability, Hope to change to X3 soon to give me a better towing ratio
