Anyone else noticed “Latest post” on a thread is jumping around all over? On some threads I know I have been last post, yet not showing as such, but the post is there?

    The Acsi thread shows closed on my PC yet I can access and post on it from my tablet.  Case of left hand right hand 👐

    It has been noted on the snagging thread since 7:40 on the 10/12 after maintenance the previous night. However, if anyone has taken any notice, they haven't said.

    I feel we've turned the clock back by 3 years and it’s a shocking mess.☹️

    Still, at least we've not got the duplicate post syndrome back.

    I've just looked at 2 threads in different sections. In order to escape from the thread I've pressed the Discussion button at the top and after doing this the thread I was looking at reverts to the penultimate poster. Happened on both occasions.

    On top of the above I have also noticed edits are not being accepted. CT was down this morning and it seems to have had problems ever since.

    Happened to me too; an edited post did not show the edited bit, so I posted a new post.  And after that my earlier edited post DID show the edited bit.  Mind you, that thread has now ended up in the bin anyway......

    Indeed, it was informative and uncontroversial (or should have been, anyway). I'd have been interested to hear details of more than the one UK site mentioned (Woodovis).

    Such a shame it was wrecked by off topic comments such as "blah, blah,  blah,  yawn ",  "bad smells" and accusations of some sort of conspiracy. Those making, and worse still,  liking those sorts of posts may not be feeling proud, but should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves tonight.

    It's still there for me at the moment, M, but it's now under a heading of "Hidden" rather than the "tips for cheaper vanning".....very strange!

    Interesting though,  that you choose to reply to that post but not my earlier ones, David - maybe you missed them?

    My point was that you seemed to have a desire to promote further bickering. I might have misunderstood as I am often hard of understanding of subtle nuances and it does seem out of character for you to be a bickerer.

    Oi......don’t you start an argument on here, I am trying to find out if it’s my incompetence or HQ’s! 😁I have been working with a dodgy phone tether for last few days, so I am more than cheerful to find it’s not my fault but down to dodgy website.

    For what it’s worth, your thread kept coming up locked this morning, but then I found it open, then locked, then open.....definitely something going on other than just pistols at dawn.🤯

    yup ditto, sight just seems to be all over the place i.e. lots of anomolies, i just ignore them now, nobody fixes them even if you report them.

    I don't know what's going on, either.  I've just put a post on the CAMC insurance thread but it's still showing TTDA as being the last poster from a few days ago.

    (And Rufs as the last one on this thread)

    Edit - and now it's corrected itself on both posts

    I'm finding that a lot of these strange happenings depend on how you try to access them

    1 )  clicking on the relevant thread via  " My Profile "  or 

    2 ) Clicking on  " Discussions " and scrolling down to the wanted thread  Both seem to bring up very different ends of thread and ownership. Not sure if they start off the same after an overnight pause but it is very confusing to an old man, who now is feeling even older  embarassed

    Yes, still jumping around all over AB, it’s nothing to do with getting old!

    I will report your post, perhaps HQ aren’t aware. Don’t expect a response or progress until after weekend though, if any at all is forthcoming.🤷‍♀️
