Caravan top covers

Hi,

Question for the more experienced caravanner.

Was considering purchasing a top cover but on enquiring with Maypole covers I was informed that top covers were neither water proof or breathable.

I can only assume that these covers would hold moisture in after rain and not let the roof dry quickly.

Anybody ant experience of top covers and are my assumptions right or wrong.

No idea but my reply might be seen by someone who does. I don't think that I have seen just a 'top cover' as opposed to a full cover
