Gluing a TV Bracket

Hi guys has anyone successfully glued a plastic TV bracket in their van , I have a Elddis advante 550 the bedroom wall is so flimsy by the tv point,if so love to know what you used cheers Griffo

    i bolted through with a 'plate' on the far slide to take the load. it worked. sort of a sandwich but i didn't use glue but you could for belt and braces I guess.

    I also used bolts and metal plates in these circumstances.

    Glue might work if you could smear the whole surface, but my experience of brackets is that they are ridged, greatly reducing the contact area.

    Also, surely if just glueing you would just be attaching it to a paper thin layer of laminate with no inherent strength. There is a good chance it would just rip off.
