Bridlingtons new pitches

We are off to Bridders this weekend its been 3 years since we were last their. We now have Motor home after changing from the caravan, has anyone been on the new pitches with a motorhome are they relatively flat, l had heard that at the top it was very exposed and can get rather windy. The last 4 or 5 times we had been their we had super pitches but now having a motorhome we dont require them, obviously we can look an judge for ourselves but if any of you think their are parts of the site that suits Motorhomes especially with having a wind out canopy, could you please let me know

It was a couple of years ago when we were last there and it was when the new section was under construction. I don't recall any issues with pitches not being level. Just a tip with a motorhome, if the pitch appears to have a slight backwards slope you will find that will be fine with a motorhome as they are generally slightly nose down. The problem is when the pitch slopes down from the back and this usually requires more leveling at the front.

Thanks Dave yes my brother told me the same but the pitches we have been on were relatively flat so didn't need any levelling blocks, didn't notice if they were slightly up hill. The last time we were there they were getting ready to start getting the access roads ready, not been since. We will have a scout round shouldn't be to busy has the schools are back and we arrive Sunday afternoon so weekenders may have left also

Heethers - we were there earlier in the year (admittedly in a van rather than a MH) and as far as I could see the pitches in the new area were pretty much plumb level. We were on a non-serviced pitch just past the toilet block as you drive round that part of the site and had no problems. But it is very exposed at the moment until the trees mature and we had one particularly windy night when we thought we might lose the awning! There is certainly more shelter in the older part of the site.

wouldnt you just park nose in first? job done.

with just a MH on its own and no other paraphernalia, you'd still have bags of room on the pitch.

It’s the Sevel based MHs that tend to be nose down, David.

Just look for the high spot of the pitch and park the nose on it - subject to the peg position of course🙄.
