I was wondering if anyone could give me some advise or point me in the right direction . We purchased a 2017 Tribute 736 in Nov. 2017, brand new from Chelston Motorhomes.

It has already been back previously for the whole side panel renewing due to water ingress, and then while we was away the solar wasn't working , had to get electrician out , it was wired wrong. and last week the floor near the door has gone spongy ( delamination ). I called them to get it fixed under warranty, to be advised you haven't had your habitation inspection done so your warranty is void! I explained to the lady I have no idea what that this, what is it she said you have to have it done every 12 months with them, I said I wasn't aware of that as if I was I would have ensured it was done especially after the issues we have had, she just replied with sorry it isn't covered... I am so angary and annoyed about this , surly this can not be the case , the floor should have lasted longer than a year and a half … if anyone can advise that would be appreciated.

I’m afraid it is a stipulation of warranty that you have the habitation service done as stated in your warranty documents.

You may be able to seek redress under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the best advice I can offer is that you speak to the club's legal department.

    Good luck.

Tin Wheeler is right but l would post on all web sites the dealers failures to many get away with shody servicing and especially pre delivery inspections, so sorry for your dilemma. We to have just bought a Tribute 625 2015 model hopefully we won't have a problem. Their are companies that specialise in delamination by injecting glue into parts of the floor have a look online

Looks like lesson learned ( probably an expensive one ) Just never heard of the Habitation service, maybe when it is due, they should send a letter out near the time ( but them I suppose they wouldn't get away with not doing warranty work) . Thank you for your replies :-(
