European break down cover

Can anyone recommend  a  company that provides European  breakdown cover at a reasonable  price? Looking on line,the prices seem to have risen quite a lot since lasr year.

    Tried it last night with both our cars and it doesn't look like it will except a Honda CRV which is strange as in surveys it's one of the top 5 on reliability

    The following message that comes up when trying to get a quote:

    Sorry, but unfortunately we do not provide cover for your HONDA CR-V.
    Either your make and model are not eligible, or the age of your vehicle does not meet the eligibility criteria.
    We cover cars under 15 years or vans less than 10 years of age.

    My car is under 10 years old.  Have now taken out Red Pennant

    Perhaps they do like one of our cars, but decided to get a quote as we are off over there next week.  Just thought I would give others the benefit of my research, I’m all 💖

    I use Driver Guardian. 5 star cover at a very reasonable price

    The club policy is more expensive than some but the service is generally excellent. To me a few more pounds premium is worth the extra security rather than risk one that lets me down when  I need it.
