France, fuel card Esso

Could anyone tell me how the feul card works in France? Euro or GBP? Weekly price? 

Nothing on pump king website that I can find??

    If you check the last few posts in the My Esso Card thread ( one down, below this one) They mention you can, but it would seem you pay whatever price is on the pump, converted at the mid market rate, with no other charges.

    It would seem not.

    I am sure that the topic was also mentioned towards the start of the thread by one of the staff. At that time I was considering getting a card but didn't like the debit card link to my current account and couldn't be bothered setting up another. I might be tempted if there was a saving, as although cheaper some supermarkets over there aren't the easiest to access.

    No discounts in France is also my interpretation of the reply I received from Pump King.  Not too happy about their comment 'mid market rate' so will not bother using it in France.
