Car Purchase

Hi, having decided to change my present car for a newer version I am looking for a reliable supplier.

My Mondeo Titanium X has given good service and, being a poor pensioner, I am looking for a newer version of the Mondeo.

There is a Trustford operastion with access to the Ford dealer network which can supply cars from its various sources around the country. This looks as if it should be a pretty reliable option but has anyone tried it?

Any experience would be helpful

You don't say what your model is, if it's the 2.2 diesel they are like rocking horse poo and have started to go up in price on the second hand market, so don't get ripped of by the dealers.

Trust Ford is a decent set up in my opinion having used it for my wife's Fiesta, purchase and servicing.

I was under the impression that Trust Ford are owned by Ford themselves, but might be mistaken.

Out of interest they were previously known as Polar Ford.

Intersting Simon 100, I have a Polar Ford about half a mile away. I thought that they were just another Ford dealer.Might just give them a look! I have the 2 litre 140 bhp version and it has been excellent with my relatively small van

Part of the reason for my change is the feeling that slowly but surely emissions will start to tighten up as part of the MOT. They have already upped the anti a bit. Newer engines are better designed to cope with this change, imo anyway.
