Caravan cover

I am on my 2nd Caravan cover from Protec. its a great product.... but a CAT magnet..they love the texture & claw the material especially at corners. My first one was tottally shredded on the front end in a matter of days.
I have tried sprays Etc, watching armed with a waterpistol..to no avail. Currently i have some netting on poles surrounding the lower part of the Van but the blighters still try it on.
I am considering using some 'Limpets' to fix a Vinyl sheet (old advert banner) over the areas affected, but am concerned about the small holes required enlarging. 
Any suggestions. ? Experience ?

    is it the full cover or just a front cover.
